Ingredients

  • pumpkin - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • rice - 4 tbsp.
  • raisins - 2.5 oz (70 g)
  • milk - 2 cups
  • sugar - 6 tbsp.
  • butter - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • vanilla - 1 ampoule
  • cinnamon - 1 tbsp.
  • crushed walnuts - for sprinkling

How to make

The cleaned pumpkin from the seeds and peel is cut into small pieces.

Coat the bottom and walls of the baking pan with all the soft butter and arrange the pumpkin pieces evenly.

Next up is the washed rice and raisins sprinkled evenly on it.

In a bowl pour 2 cups of warm milk and add sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Mix well and pour the pumpkin with the mixture.

Place the baking pan in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) and roast the pumpkin for about 1 hour and once you take out the baking pan sprinkle it with crushed walnuts.
