How to make
The oven is preheated to 390°F (200°C) .
An cut is made in each chestnut. The chestnuts are roasted for about 15 minutes, until their shells open up slightly.
Once you take them out from the oven, the roasted chestnuts are peeled. If they cannot be peeled, put them in boiling water for a few seconds.
Caramelize the sugar and add the broth, salt and chestnuts.
Leave them to simmer, covered for about 30 minutes and add more broth, if necessary.
When the chestnuts soften and absorb all of the broth, add the butter.
The Glazed Chestnuts are served hot.
