For this favorite cake from the olden days, sift the flour along with the baking powder.
In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar, add the yogurt, melted butter, salt, vanilla and sifted flour.
Grease a round baking pan with a diameter of about 9″ (23 cm) and pour the resulting mixture into it.
Add slices of apricot and sprinkle it with sugar.
Bake the apricot cake at 360°F (180°C) with the fan on for 1 hour.
Once it cools down, sprinkle the village-style apricot cake with cinnamon.
