"If you have oatmeal, heres how you can put them to use - in the Apple Cake with Oatmeal"

Ingredients

  • oatmeal - 1 cup (fine)
  • apples - 4 pcs.
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp.
  • sugar - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • egg whites - 4 pcs.
  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp.
  • breadcrumbs - 1 tbsp.
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • butter - 1 tbsp.

How to make

Peel and cut the apples into small cubes, sprinkle them with cinnamon and set the bowl aside.

Beat the egg whites with the sugar, until a fluffy mixture is obtained. Add the mixed oatmeal with the flour and baking powder and mix gently.

Grease a baking pan with a diameter of 9″ (23 cm) with butter. Sprinkle the bottom with breadcrumbs and distribute the apples in one layer. Pour the protein mixture over them and smooth it out slightly.

Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C). Bake the apple cake, until it's ready - about 30 minutes.

At the end, sprinkle it with powdered sugar and serve it.
