How to make
Peel the potatoes and boil them, until they're fully cooked. The eggs are hard boiled and peeled.
Grate the potatoes, eggs, pickles, ham and yellow cheese on a coarse grater or cut them into very small pieces and mix them in a deep bowl with the salt and spices very well.
Shape walnut-sized balls, roll them in flour, then the eggs and breadcrumbs and fry them in an oil bath for a few minutes, by turning them on all sides.
Remove the croquettes with a slotted spoon and place them onto kitchen paper to absorb the excess fat.
The Dutch Croquettes are served with garlic sauce.
