"Sometimes just some pan-fried mushrooms are enough for a delicious lunch"

Ingredients

  • penny bun mushrooms - 9 oz (250 g) fresh
  • butter - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • salt - by taste
  • parsley - 3 stalks
  • black pepper - 2 pinches
  • spring onions - 2 - 3 pcs. (the green part for decoration)
measures

How to make

Clean the mushrooms and cut them into thin slices lengthwise. Sprinkle them with a pinch of black pepper.

Heat the butter with a spoonful of olive oil and when it melts and starts to bubble, put the mushrooms in it in one layer.

If they don't all fit in the pan, then fry them in portions. The goal is not to pile them up.

Fry the fragrant mushrooms in the butter, until they aquire a golden color on both sides. Add salt just before removing them from the pan.

Serve the wonderful mushroom appetizer in butter while it's warm.

Sprinkle them with a little more black pepper and finely chopped fresh parsley and spring onions.

Enjoy these pan-fried penny bun mushrooms with butter!
