"Surprise your guests, by serving these Christmas Snowballs, for a festive atmosphere"

Ingredients

  • lard - 7 oz (200 g) melted
  • yogurt - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • powdered sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • vanilla powder - 2/5 tsp (2 g)
  • lemon zest - 1 tbsp.
  • flour - to knead medium soft dough
  • powdered sugar - for dusting
  • turkish delight - 5 oz (140 g)

How to make

Sift the flour into a bowl, add the melted lard, powdered sugar, vanilla and lemon zest.

Add the baking powder to the yogurt, give it a minute to activate and add it to the flour mix.

Knead a soft, non-sticky dough.

Cut the Turkish delight into pieces. Take a piece of dough, the size of a walnut, and insert a piece of Turkish delight in the middle.

Arrange your snowballs on a tray covered with baking paper.

Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 degrees) and bake for 15 minutes, until golden brown.

Once baked, dust abundantly with powdered sugar.
