How to make
For this tender roasted chicken, the meat is washed well and dried. Its skin is peeled off from the back carefully in the direction from the neck to the thighs, after which the chicken is turned over and the skin is peeled off in the same way from the chest down.
The butter is left in advance at room temperature to soften. Add salt, black pepper and smoked paprika to the butter. Mix everything well and spread the mixture on the inside, under the skin and outside.
Place it in the bag in a large rectangular baking pan and add around it the sliced carrots, whole heads of garlic and sprigs of fresh thyme and sage leaves. You can also put in the chicken a few sprigs of thyme and 1-2 leaves of sage, as well as a whole unpeeled head of garlic. Finally, pour the wine and water.
The bag is tied and the chicken is placed in a baking pan.
Bake it in a preheated oven at 370°F (190°C) at a medium level for an hour and a half or until this tender chicken roasted in a bag is ready.
