Ingredients

  • quinoa - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • carrots - 5 oz (140 g)
  • onions - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • yellow cheese - 4 tbsp. (grated)
  • oregano - 2 pinches
  • butter - 2 tbsp.
  • breadcrumbs - 6 tbsp.
  • lemons - 1/2 pc. (the peel)
  • black pepper - by taste
  • salt - by taste
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp. + for sprinkling

How to make

Wash the quinoa and pour it into a pot. Add the garlic and lemon peel. Fill it with water and boil until the quinoa is ready.

Allow it to cool as soon as it is ready and also discard the water. Remove the lemon peel and use a press for the garlic.

Cut the onions into small pieces and grate the carrots on a fine grater. Transfer the vegetables into a pan and fry them. Set them aside when they are ready.

In a deep bowl, mix the products for the delicious meatless meatballs: quinoa, carrots, eggs, garlic and onions, salt and black pepper, oregano, breadcrumbs, yello cheese.

When you shape the meatless meatballs, arrange them in a pre-greased baking pan.

Bake the appetizing quinoa meatballs at 360°F (180 degrees) until they're done. Serve them warm as a main dish or side dish.

If you wish, you can also add an yogurt sauce to the meatless meatballs with quinoa, carrots and eggs.
