Ingredients

  • ladyfingers - 8 oz (220 g)
  • instant coffee - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • water - 1 1/4 cups (250 ml)
  • whiskey - 1 tbsp.
  • cream
  • mascarpone - 9 oz (250 g)
  • powdered sugar - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • sour cream - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • liquid cream - 1 cup (200 ml)
  • dark chocolate - 80% cocoa
  • decoration
  • chocolate wafer sticks - 3 - 4 pcs.
  • confectionery paint
  • yogurt - 1 tsp.

How to make

Dissolve a teaspoon of coffee in warm water and mix it with as much sugar as you like. Pour it into a suitable bowl.

Prepare the cream for the pastries by whipping the liquid cream with half of the powdered sugar in a bowl. Add a spoonful of alcohol, in this case a spoonful of whiskey, mascarpone and sour cream.

Add the remaining powdered sugar and one vanilla powder. Beat them with a wire whisk, so that no lumps form, until a smooth mixture is obtained.

In a rectangular pan pour 3 tbsp. of the cream and smear the bottom with it. Arrange a row of ladyfingers, dipped for seconds in the coffee with whiskey, spread them with some cream on top and sprinkle them with grated dark chocolate.

Arrange a second row of ladyfingers, then cream and finish off by sprinkling with chocolate.

8 pieces are marked with a knife.

In a teaspoon of yogurt pour the powdered paint to dissolve it and add it to the cream to color it. Pour it into a piping bag with a star tip and decorate each pastry.

The chocolate wafer sticks are cut into pieces of 1.2″ (3 cm) and are placed on the large piped out cream rose of each pastry.

The ladyfingers, whiskey and dark chocolate pastries are left in the refrigerator to set for 1 night and then they are ready for the occasion.
