"Instead of bread, try these perfectly baked quick olive oil bread buns, which you will eat while theyre still warm"

Ingredients

  • flour - 7 oz (200 g) + for kneading
  • live yeast - 0.35 oz (10 g)
  • water - 4.2 fl oz (125 ml)
  • olive oil - 2 1/3 tbsp (35 ml)
  • salt - 2 pinches
  • sugar - 1 pinch

How to make

Dissolve the yeast in slightly warmed water, along with a pinch of sugar.

Without waiting for it to activate, add olive oil and mix well.

Sift the flour into a bowl along with the salt. Pour the liquid mixture over it and start kneading the dough, by adding a little flour until it stops sticking to your fingers.

Knead the dough until it's smooth and elastic and form 4 round bread buns from it. Arrange them at a distance in a baking pan - greased or covered with baking paper.

Leave them for 20-30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 390°F (200 degrees) and bake the olive oil bread buns for 20 minutes or until they aquire a golden brown color.
