  • lemon balm - 1 handful (dried or fresh)
  • water - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • crystal brown sugar - 4 tsp. (or honey)

How to make

Heat up water in an electric kettle.

Pour boiling water over the lemon balm leaves in a pot and cover it with a lid. Leave it to boil for a bit.

You can make tea with dried leaves in winter and in the warm season - with fresh ones, as they are even more fragrant have a stronger effect.

Pour the liquid into the glasses, by straining it through a strainer. If you want to drink it hot - sweeten it with brown sugar, but in case you prefer honey instead of sugar - you have to wait for the tea to cool slightly (for it to be warm, not hot), because honey loses its useful properties when combined with anything hot.

It is very pleasant in the taste and aroma - lemon balm tea with a calming effect.
