Ingredients

  • cabbage - 1 small cabbage
  • carrots - 2 pcs.
  • fresh parsley
  • salt - by taste
  • apple cider vinegar - 1 tbsp.
  • oil - 2 tbsp.
  • hazelnuts - 10 pcs.
  • mackerel - 1 pc.
  • oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to make

Clean the mackerel from the head and entrails, wash it very well and sprinkle it with salt and black pepper. Bake it in a preheated oven at 200 degrees until it's fully baked, sprinkled with a little oil and a little water in the baking pan.

Take it out and divide it into two halves for two salads. In a pan, finely chop the fresh cabbage into strips. Peel the carrots and grate them.

Add finely chopped fresh parsley, as much salt as you like, oil and apple cider vinegar. Mix everything well and distribute the salad into two flat plates.

Spread shredded pieces of the baked fish on top and sprinkle the salad with whole hazelnuts.

Serve the cabbage salad with a slice of lemon. Light and very tasty for lunch or dinner.
