Ingredients

  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • sugar - 1 tsp.
  • melted butter - 4 tbsp.
  • milk - 1/3 cup (80 ml)
  • vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp.
  • flour - 1.5 cup
  • baking powder
  • lemon peel - from 1 lemon
  • grapes - 5.5 oz (150 g) without seeds
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

How to make

In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar. Add the butter, milk and vanilla essence to the mixture. Beat everything until the mixture turns white.

Pour the pre-sifted flour along with the baking powder in another bowl. In that same bowl add the grated peel of 1 lemon.

Start adding the flour to the buttery mixture and mix it with a wooden spoon or spatula. After we have cleaned, washed and dried the grapes, roll them in flour.

Add the grapes to the prepared mixture, stir it and pour it into the prepared cake pan.

Place it in the oven, which needs to be preheated to 360°F (180 degrees).

When 15 minutes have passed, take out the cake and add the other grapes. Now bake it for about 40 minutes.

Sprinkle the fruit cake with powdered sugar.

The juicy grape cake is ready.
