  • eggs - 2
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • flour - 2 cups
  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • oil - 2 tablespoons
  • baking powder - 2 tsp (10 g)
  • vanilla - 1
  • cherries - 7 oz (200 g)

How to make

The oven is heated to 320°F (160 °C). Beat the eggs and sugar into foam. To these, add the oil, then milk. The flour is mixed with baking powder and vanilla, add it in parts and mix the dough until smooth.

Put it into a greased and floured pan with a diameter of 10″ (26 cm), the cherries are cleaned from their stems and pits and rolled in a mixture of 1 tablespoon of flour and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Arrange on the dough and gently press without them sinking.

Bake the cake for 30 minutes on a medium grill. Once cooled, sprinkle it with powdered sugar, and cut it into your desired shape.
