Ingredients

  • pumpkin - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • sugar - 6.4 oz (180 g)
  • oil - about 1/2 cup
  • flour - to roll the pumpkin in
  • milk - 5 cups
  • eggs - 5 pcs.
  • walnuts - 1/2 cup
  • hazelnuts - 1 handful
  • vanilla - 2 pcs.
  • cinnamon - 1 tbsp.

How to make

In a suitable bowl, caramelize 1 oz (30 g) of sugar. Pour the prepared caramel on the bottom of the baking pan in which you will bake the pumpkin.

Peel the pumpkin and cut it into 0.4″ (1 cm) thick pieces. Roll each one in flour and arrange them in several rows on top of the caramel.

Mix the eggs with the milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and add the chopped walnuts and hazelnuts.

Pour the mixture over the pumpkin and place pieces of butter on top. Bake them in a moderately heated oven for about 50-60 minutes.
