  • filo pastry - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • white cheese - 10 oz (300 g)
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • yogurt - 7 oz (200 g)
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • baking powder - 0.35 oz (10 g)
  • salt - by taste

How to make

In a suitable bowl, prepare the filling for the filo pastries.

First, finely crumble the white cheese, then add the eggs and yogurt and baking powder. Pour in the oil and add salt by taste. Mix well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Grab a filo pastry sheet, fold it diagonally to create a triangle and spread it with 1 tbsp. of the mixture - the wide part.

Cover both ends to make an envelope, put another spoonful of the mixture and roll it up like a cigar.

Repeat until you're out of products. Place the filo pastries next to each other in a pre-greased baking pan.

Spread the rest of the filling on the cheese filo pastries and bake them in a preheated 390°F (200 degree) oven until they aquire a golden color.

These cheese filo pastries are really uniquely delicious.
