"Grandma used to make the tastiest rabbit with rice. Its unique taste is forever ingrained in my memory. Now I`m sharing the recipe with you!"

Ingredients

  • rabbit - 1/2 of a rabbit
  • rice - 1 and 1/2 cup
  • onions - 1 head
  • carrots - 1
  • celery - 1/3 head
  • peppers - 1 red
  • green beans - 1 handful, optional
  • tomatoes - 1 can
  • allspice - 5 grains
  • black pepper - 10 peppercorns + ground
  • bay leaf - 1
  • salt
  • savory - to taste

How to make

Portion the rabbit, wash the pieces and bring them to a boil. Once they are boiling, remove the foam and add the chopped carrot, half of the chopped onion, celery, allspice and black pepper, bay leaf and salt to taste.

Simmer this way until it boils. Fry the remaining onion in a little oil with the chopped peppers and cleaned green beans. Once softened, add the rice. Stir and fry it and add the grated tomato and spices to taste.

Add the rice to the pan, dispense the boiled rabbit on top and add about 4 and 1/2 cup of the broth. Put it to bake until the rice absorbs the water.
