"There is a widespread misconception that dock is only for soups or a salads. Here is the proof that dock can be used to make extremely appetizing fried patties"

Ingredients

  • dock - 2 bunches
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • mint - 3 stalks
  • garlic - 2 pressed cloves
  • onion - 1 onion
  • cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • yellow cheese - 1.75 oz (50 g)
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • flour - 1 cup (for rolling)
  • oil - 1 cup (for frying)

How to make

The dock is cleaned from its stems and boiled in hot water until it changes its color, dry it up well and cut it into small pieces.

Mix it with the egg, flour, finely chopped onion, grated yellow cheese, white cheese and mint. Leave the mixture to set in a cool place. Wet your hands and form the patties.

First roll them in flour and then fry them in hot oil on both sides. Serve them an yogurt and garlic sauce. These vegetable patties are tasty and they're giving us spring vibes!
