The fruit for this puree should be soft and ripe. The quantities listed are of peeled fruit, and for one portion.
Mash the pear and banana with a fork, add the oats and water, and stir.
Simmer for 3 minutes (the temperature should not exceed 190°F (90 degrees)).
You can achieve a fine texture by blending the puree for a few seconds, adding a teaspoon of olive oil. That way it will become smooth and creamy.
Before consumption cool the oatmeal down to 100°F (37 degrees), and make sure there are no large chunks in it.
