How to make
Peel the yellow part of the lemon peel and squeeze the juice (it should be about 20 ml). Peel the ginger root as well.
Put them in a blender along with the apple, celery pieces and salt.
Pour 1 cup of water and let everything blend for about 30 seconds, first on medium speed, then increasing progressively to maximum. Strain through a fine sieve.
*If you do not have a blender, you can grate everything on a fine grater, mix it with the lemon juice and 1 cup of water and let it sit for 30 minutes, then strain the mixture.
Dilute the resulting liquid/extract with the remaining cold water and pour it into a jug with ice cubes.
Serve immediately the healthy and fresh drink and if you have any left, store it in the refrigerator.
