"There`s something irresistible about dishes cooked in a clay dish. So irresistible in fact that they`re the main reason we can`t keep to our diet."

Ingredients

  • chicken - 17.5 oz (500 g), without bones
  • onions - 2 heads
  • carrots - 2
  • leeks - 1/2 bunch
  • mushrooms - 4 - 5
  • potatoes - 14 oz (400 g) boiled
  • cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • soya sauce
  • oregano - white, eyeball it
  • salt
  • paprika - a few pinches
  • black pepper
  • savory - crumbled, optional
  • cooking cream - 2/3 cup (150 ml)

How to make

Grease the clay dish well and add the chicken chopped into bites. Stir for a short while and salt lightly. Top with the onions and leeks, cut into crescents. After them, add round slices of carrots and sliced mushrooms, if desired.

Season the vegetables with spices and cover the clay dish well with 2 layers of aluminum foil. Put it in the oven and turn it up to 390°F (200 °C). Allow to cook for about 40-45 minutes.

Once the chicken is cooked, add the coarsely diced boiled potatoes, add a little oil and cream and mix.

Add grated cheese and return to the oven to bake until it gets a delicious crust.
