How to make

Dice the onion, garlic and pepper finely and saute them in butter and olive oil. Season with salt and let them soften.

Add the minced meat and stir to break it down to a crumbly texture. Season with the herbs and spices, the chopped chilli pepper and a little more salt.

Add the tomatoes blended, or shredded if they are fresh. Simmer for 15 minutes, making sure the sauce does not dry out. In that case add a little water. Once cooked, add the chopped cilantro leaves and set aside.

Mix in the kidney beans. In case they are canned make sure you rince and strain them before addng them to the sauce.

Just before serving, heat the tortilla wraps on a dry pan. Add the Chilli con Carne in each wrap, and roll them closed, making sure you fold the bottom part of the tortilla, so the filling doen't fall out.

Serve with guacamole or a fresh salad.

Enjoy your meal!
