Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • garlic - 2 - 3 cloves, crushed
  • salt
  • vinegar
  • soya sauce
  • coriander
  • black pepper
  • cayenne pepper

How to make

Put water on the stove to boil with salt and vinegar. During this time, peel the potatoes and grate them into thin sticks on a grater. Wash them under running water until the water is absolutely clear.

Put the potatoes in the boiling water and then 4 minutes later, rinse them with cold water. Drain.

Roll the potatoes in soya sauce, coriander, ground black pepper and cayenne pepper to your liking. Heat the deep fryer and fry the potatoes for a few minutes in the preheated oil.

These go perfectly with beer.
