Ingredients

  • spaghetti - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • bacon - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • yolks - 2 pcs.
  • parmesan - 1 oz (30 g), grated
  • black pepper - a pinch
  • salt
  • olive oil

How to make

Cut the fresh bacon into juliennes.

In a pan pour a cup of olive oil and fry until it's golden brown. Boil the spaghetti according to the instructions on the package. Strain them and transfer into the pan with the fried bacon.

Put it on the stove and add the egg yolks with parmesan. Stir for a few minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and pour the pasta into a plates.

Sprinkle with a pinch of black pepper and a pinch of parmesan. Enjoy!

The spaghetti carbonara should be without heaby cream or other sauces. They originated as a recipe for Italian miners who needed a nutritious lunch dish and because they ate it on the spot and without forks, it was convenient and practical.
