How to make
Season the salmon fillet with salt and rub in, the lemon zest and crushed garlic.
In a deep bowl, add the soy sauce, honey, water and olive oil. Blend until they turn into a homogeneous mixture and pour over the salmon. Let it rest in the fridge for at least a couple of hours.
Cover a baking tray with a piece of parchment paper, place the salmon with the marinade on top and bake at a moderate temperature in the oven for approximately 30 minutes. Periodically spoon some of the juices and pour over the fillet.
The marinated salmon tastes delicious and is best served hot! You can decorate it with a couple of lemon slices, if you wish!
A great side dish is a potato salad with thinly sliced red onion and seasoned with olive oil and white balsamic vinegar.
