How to make
Take the tender part of the cabbage leaves and remove their veins and form them suitably for folding into leaves. Preheat nearly all the oil and fry the chopped leeks. Add the rice, stir briefly and season it with spices. Top with some hot water and stir until slightly swollen.
Remove the filling from the heat and allow it to cool. Spread it over the cabbage leaves and form medium-sized wraps. Arrange them in a pot and then add the remaining oil. Press down on the very top with a plate and add sauerkraut sauce until they are covered.
Put the wraps to be cooked with the lid on until the rice boils and the water evaporates.
