Ingredients

  • chocolate - 12.5 oz (350 g) natural (74% cocoa)
  • butter - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • eggs - 6, yolks and whites separated
  • brown sugar - 4/5 cup (200 g) or regular sugar
  • for sprinkling
  • chocolate chips - 1/2 cup, or crushed chocolate

How to make

Carefully melt the chocolate with the butter in a water bath. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar, add the chocolate gradually, while constantly whipping.

Separately, beat the egg whites, then carefully add them to remaining mixture with a spatula. Pour the mixture over a cake form, covered with baking paper.

Sprinkle the top with chocolate chips and put the chocolate cake without flour to bake in a preheated 350°F (175 °C) oven for about 35 min.
