How to make
Cut the vegetables finely and mix them together. Cut the baguette into slices and smear them with a thin layer of cream cheese. Arrange the smeared slices in a baking dish and distribute the vegetables on top.
Bake in a preheated oven (just the top), until the vegetables lightly get pink. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake another 3-5 minutes until the cheese is melted. Serve warm.
You can experiment and use flavored cream cheese with smoked salmon or with sun-dried tomatoes and basil – whatever is available commercially. The cream cheese can be substituted with cottage cheese.
