  • bread - 4
  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • feta cheese - 1 cup, crumbled
  • oil - 2 tablespoons
  • salami - 1/3 cup, finely cut
  • eggs - 2, small
  • butter - for smearing the tray

How to make

Smear a small tray with butter. Arrange 3 bread slices, tear the 4th into pieces and arrange in the spaces between the 3. Break 2 eggs in a bowl.

Beat the eggs with a whisk in the bowl. Put the baking soda in 1 cup yoghurt and leave aside to activate. Add the yoghurt to the eggs, stir for a bit. Add about 2 tbsp oil.

Dice the salami finely. Crumble a hard feta cheese using a fork or your hand. You need 1 cup of it. Put everything in the bowl and stir, now use a fork to mix it all well. Pour the mixture over the bread and distribute evenly with a spoon all over.

Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until it's ready. The result is a giant sandwich. After baking well on top and below, serve in a large round plate. It won't fall apart, will remain whole.

Break it into smaller pieces upon serving.
