Ingredients

  • beans - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • onions - 1 large head
  • garlic - 1 head
  • peppers - 1, red
  • tomato sauce - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • spearmint - 1 tsp
  • lovage - 1 tsp
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • salt
  • baking soda - 1 tsp

How to make

Soak the beans overnight. The next day put them in an ordinary pot with 1 teaspoon of baking soda to a boil.

After boiling for 5 minutes, change out the water and transfer to a pressure cooker. Add all the other products - chopped vegetables, spices and salt.

Close the pot and put it at the lowest setting for boiling. Boil for 25 minutes and remove it from the heat. After 10 minutes, open the lid (after the pressure valve is released).
