"A tasty improvisation on the classic phyllo pastry recipe, this time with ham and cheese!"

Ingredients

  • phyllo pastry - 1 pack
  • cheese - 9 oz (250 g) grated
  • ham - 9 oz (250 g) chopped
  • feta cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • butter - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • eggs - 4
  • yogurt - 1 cup
  • baking soda - 1 tsp

How to make

Grate the cheese and cut the ham into small pieces.

At the bottom of a greased oven dish, put 2 sheets of the phyllo pastry, which you've brushed with a little melted butter.

On top, place a little of the cheese, ham and crumbled feta cheese. Put a little in every two sheets, and continue this way until you've used them all up.

Cut the phyllo pastry pie into pieces and pour the remaining butter on top. Beat the eggs, yogurt and baking soda and pour it over the the phyllo pastry pie with ham and cheese.

Bake in a moderate oven, preheated to 390°F (200 °C) for 35 minutes.
