How to make
Extinguish the baking soda in the yoghurt. Beat the eggs to foam with the sugar until fully dissolved.
Sift the flour with the baking powder. Add the liquid ingredients to the egg mixture. Gradually add the flour and vanilla as well.
Pour into a buttered and floured form. Place the pitted sour cherries. Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven about 50 min. until ready. Check with a toothpick.
Leave the cake to cook and serve it sprinkled with powdered sugar or glaze.
