Acorns help treat gum problems and tooth ache, are good against different types of poisoning. Oak acorns also have a beneficial effect on the digestive system: remedies made from them are used for stomach problems, acute and chronic colitis.
If you have diabetes you can also count on acorns. For treatment, you have to find ripe acorns, then dry and grind them to powder.
Take 1 tsp of the remedy with tea 3 times a day. Optimal results require taking the treatment with acorns seriously since it needs to continue for at least one month. For stomach problems, specifically colitis, apply the same treatment.
For heart diseases it is good to drink coffee made from acorns. Roast the ground acorns in a saucepan, stirring until they darken. Then leave them for 1 hour to cool. Boil as you would a coffee - 1 teaspoon for 1 cup of water.
You can add milk and sugar. This type of coffee is recommended for kids suffering from cough, bronchitis, asthma. It turns out that this is a very delicious drink, similar to milk with cocoa, with an incredibly refreshing effect.
Juice from green acorns on the other hand helps against nervous disorders, anemia and prolonged menstruation. Place the cleaned acorns in a chopper or meat grinder, then strain the juice through several gauzes. Take 2 tablespoons of it with 2 tablespoons of honey several times a day before meals.
Note that the raw fruits are a health risk because they contain the toxic substance quercetin. When soaked or heated, the toxin is neutralized and the acorns become harmless.
