Today, modern cooks have a number of amenities - 24-hour shops, ready-made or semi-finished foods and products, frozen vegetables and even frozen dough. That is why they have no reason to refuse to serve their family delicious puff pastry pies for breakfast.
Puff pastry, which is available in the store chains, is usually available in two packages - small and large. The small package weighs 400-500 g depending on the manufacturer and the large package weighs 800-1000 g.
Puff pastry is sold deeply frozen. You should allow it to defrost before you start working with it. This can be done in two ways.
You can take the dough out of the freezer and leave it to defrost at room temperature for about 1 hour, after which it should be ready to be transformed into a delicious puff pastry cake.
The best option is to leave the dough in the fridge overnight, where it will gradually defrost and in the morning it will be ready for you to prepare mini puff pastry rolls.
Do not try to speed up the process of defrosting the dough by immersing it in hot water or putting it in the microwave, because in both cases you will not achieve the desired result, you will only ruin the puff pastry.
