Ingredients

  • layers
  • flour - 2 cups
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • cocoa - 5 tablespoons
  • water - 1 cup
  • baking powder - 2 tsp (10 g)
  • mayonnaise - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • vanilla - 2

  • dark chocolate - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • butter - 1/5 cup (55 g)
  • oil - 1 - 2 tsp
  • sugar sprinkles - for decoration

How to make

In a bowl mix the dry ingredients and stir well after sifting the flour and cocoa. Make a well in the middle, then add the water and mayonnaise.

After you obtain a homogeneous cake mixture, pour it into a suitable buttered and sprinkled with flour form.

Place the form in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven to bake about 30-35 min.

Once the cake cools, pour the warm glaze over it. To make it, melt the crumbled chocolate in a water bath with the butter and oil. You have to obtain a homogeneous mixture.

I used the same recipe for the cake in the 2nd photo, except instead of cocoa I added 5 tbsp coconut flakes.
