How to make
Chop the onions and leeks, salt them a little.
Mash them with your hands so they can take in the salt itself.
Wash the rice and add it to the onions, plus add the finely chopped tomato and spices as well. Stir well.
Start removing the thick veins of the sauerkraut leaves and leave them aside.
Put filling onto each sauerkraut leaf and roll it up.
Put sauerkraut leaves at the bottom of a pot to cover it entirely.
Arrange the sarma and put a plate at the very top to press down. Pour in hot water and sauerkraut juice.
Put it on the stove and boil about 1 hour.
Serve in a plate, drain away the broth.
