How to make
Heat the oven to 390°F (200 °C). Prepare a tray covered with baking paper.
Wash the potatoes and cut them into thick slices. Blanch them about 3-5 min. in boiling salted water. Take them out and drain.
Once cooled a bit, put them in a plastic bag, add olive oil. Shake so that they oil up on all sides.
Pour them into the tray and sprinkle generously with breadcrumbs. Stir so they stick on them everywhere.
Distribute them out. Sprinkle with chopped onion and pressed garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, thyme, oregano.
Bake at 390°F (200 °C) for about 30 min. or until ready.
Notes: It's a super recipe for a wonderful garnish or stand-alone light dinner with a big salad. They have an aftertaste similar to potato wedges, quite pleasant indeed.
The spices used are all up to you. I add extra because that's how I like them. Before putting them in the oven I sprinkled lightly with sea salt for an even more outstanding taste.
