How to make
Activate the yeast in 2/5 cup (100 ml) warm milk with the sugar and 1 tbsp flour. Beat the eggs and add the remaining milk. Sift the flour and add the milk mixture and yeast.
Knead a smooth, elastic dough. Divide it into 1 large ball, a medium 1 and a small 1 (the size of a walnut) to decorate the flowers.
Roll out a large sheet from the large one, smear it with butter, wrap it into a roll and cut them into individual rolls. Arrange them along the edges of the oven dish and press each one with a spoon.
Roll out a sheet from the 2nd ball, smear with butter and wrap into a roll. Cut it down its length and twist the 2 strips about each other. Put it in the middle of the pita. Form flowers from the small ball of dough.
Leave it to rise, then smear it with egg yolk and bake in a preheated 320°F (160 °C) oven.
