Ingredients

  • for the layer
  • eggs - 6
  • sugar - 1 1/2 cups
  • flour - 1 1/2 cups
  • for the cream
  • liquid cream - 2 cups (500 ml)
  • for the syrup
  • sugar - 1/2 cup
  • water - 1 cup
  • for the caramel
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • water - 3 tbsp
  • walnuts - 4/5 cup (200 g)

How to make

Separate the whites from the yolks and beat them to thick snow, along with the sugar. Beat the yolks as well and combine the yellow and white mixtures.

Stir and add the flour gradually. Divide the mixture into 3 parts and bake 3 layers on baking paper.

Make a sugar syrup and syrup the cooled layers. Beat the liquid cream until thickened, smear the layers and arrange the cake.

Make the caramel by melting the sugar with the water. Before you remove the mixture from the stove, add the crumbled walnuts.

Let it cool slightly and pour it over the top layer of the cake.

Leave the cake to cool for about an hour before consumption.
