How to make
Peel the apples and slice them. Mash 2 of the apples to a thick sludge. Arrange the rest of the slices in a suitable baking dish, sprinkle with a little oil and sugar and put the dish in a preheated oven.
Bake until the fruits caramelize. Beat the eggs with the sugar, add the yoghurt, oil, cinnamon, chopped walnuts and prunes. Add the pomegranates.
Pour in the sifted flour (enough to get a thick cake dough) and stir until the mixture becomes homogeneous. Pour the mixture over the caramelized apples and bake to a brown crisp.
Invert the baked cake onto a suitable platter and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve the cake cooled.
