  • flour - 1 cup
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp + some for smearing
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • peppers - 1, red
  • chili peppers - 1, green
  • red beans - canned
  • tuna - canned
  • capers

How to make

Sift the flour and add the salt and olive oil. Stir. Pour cool water in a thin trickle and knead until you get an elastic dough. Let the dough rest for about 20 min.

Divide it into 7-8 balls. Roll out each one into a thin sheet. Smear the muffin holders of a muffin tray with a brush soaked in olive oil and shape baskets by putting the doughy sheets in and pressing them to the walls and bottom.

Poke holes in the bottom with a fork. Bake in a preheated oven until they obtain a golden crisp.

Fill the baskets with canned beans that you've drained of their water, a piece of chili pepper that you've cleaned of its seeds (if desired you can substitute it with a green non-spicy pepper), a spoon of tuna and finish off with capers.
