Ingredients

  • for the cake
  • butter - 2 cups (500 g)
  • powdered sugar - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • eggs - 6
  • sugar - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • flour - 1 2/3 cups (400 g)
  • baking powder - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g)
  • cherries - 2 1/2 cups (600 g), pitted
  • vanilla - 2
  • for the cream
  • strawberries - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • confectionery cream - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml)
  • powdered sugar - 2/3 cup (150 g)

How to make

Beat the softened butter with the powdered sugar and add the egg yolks to it gradually, 1 by 1. Beat the egg whites with the sugar and then combine this and the other mixture you made.

Also put in the sifted flour, vanillas and baking powder. Add the cherries which you have rolled lightly in flour. Transfer the mixture to an oven dish covered with baking paper.

Bake the cake at 340°F (170 °C) for 45 min. Cool the prepared cake and cover it with a cream made as follows: mash half the strawberries, cream and powdered sugar with a hand blender.

Then decorate the dessert with the remaining strawberries and cool it.
