  • eggs - 6
  • sugar - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • milk - 8 tbsp, or water, tea
  • oil - 8 tbsp.
  • flour - 12 oz (350 g)
  • baking powder - 2 tsp.
  • vanilla powder - 2/5 tsp (2 g)

How to make

Beat the eggs with the sugar until whitened and subsequently add the oil and milk.

Once you've beaten well, begin adding the flour that you've mixed with the baking powder and vanilla.

To the ready mixture you can add nuts or dried fruits if desired but you can bake it as is also.

Distribute the mixture into an oiled and floured cake form and put it to bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven for about 30 min., then be sure to regulate the oven's temperature in the following 15-20 min. so it doesn't burn.

If needed, bake with only the top or lower element on. You can sprinkle the ready cake with powdered sugar or pour on a glaze if desired.
