How to make
In a bowl, in the middle of the flour, pour the melted lard and beat it with the powdered sugar until white. Add the lightly beaten egg, vanilla, lemon zest and mix.
Finally, add the baking powder to the flour and scoop it with a fork until you get a thick porridge, then knead it into a dough. Wrap it in foil and leave it to cool for 30 minutes. Divide it into two balls. Roll out each into a thin crust and cut out figurines of your choosing.
I used hearts - one smaller and one larger. I put a piece of Turkish delight and some walnut on the smaller heart. Cover with the larger heart on top form and press down on the ends. Similarly, you can prepare flowers, leaves, etc. You can use deer and Christmas tree shapes too.
Arrange all the shapes in a large oven dish. Bake at 360°F (180 °C), for 10-12 minutes. Remove and leave in the dish for 2-3 minutes, because they are very fragile. Then arrange on paper and sprinkle the cookies with powdered sugar.
Use the melted chocolate and a wooden skewer to decorate the deer. Arrange in a platter and serve!
