How to make
Mix the ground beef with the raw sausage mince, add 1 finely chopped onion head, breadcrumbs and egg and knead a mince. Divide into 6 parts, form them into a round shape 1/2″ (1.5 cm) thick and freeze for 30 min. in the freezer.
Bake these beef patties in a preheated saucepan with a nonstick coating or on a grill for about 6-8 min. per side. Cut the other onion head into round slices and braise them in the oil until golden. Wash and dry the lettuce, cut the tomato into thin slices.
Cut the buns in 2, all the way through. Place a piece of lettuce, grilled beef patty, tomato slices and some onions in each bun.
Before serving, pour on the BBQ sauce, prepared by sauteing the finely chopped onions 5-6 min. until softened, then add the remaining ingredients, stir, bring to a boil and keep boiling 3-4 min. on low heat.
You can also add other toppings: bacon, feta cheese, peppers or other products to taste.
