"I wonder if this winter salad is going to get a like from all who hate cauliflower."

Ingredients

  • cauliflowers - 1/2 head
  • potatoes - 2
  • carrots - 6, small
  • cherry tomatoes - 10
  • onions - 1 head
  • bacon - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • vinegar - to taste
  • oregano - 1 tsp, dried
  • turmeric - 2 pinches

How to make

Boil the potatoes and blanch the cauliflower until softened. Leave them to cool and combine them in a bowl, with the potatoes peeled and cut.

Leave the carrots whole but if using larger ones, you can cut them. Add the finely chopped onions and braised finely chopped bacon.

Mix the vinegar with the oil and spices and pour it over the salad. Put the salad in a plate and add the halved cherry tomatoes.
