How to make
Heat the honey in a water bath until it melts well, remove it from the heat and add the lard and 1 cup (250 g) of the flour. Knead a dough and leave it in a warm area for 1 to 2 hours.
Mix the remaining 1 cup of flour with the sugar and egg yolks and add them to the honey dough. Knead until you get a homogeneous mixture. Roll it out and cut out shapes.
Bake the gingerbread in a very highly heated oven. While still warm you can smear them with a little sweetened milk, so that they get a nice shine.
