"Vegan energy bites - very healthy, very energetic...to keep everyone running around the Christmas tree."

Ingredients

  • raw cashews - 9 oz (250 g)
  • dates - 7 oz (200 g) pitted
  • sesame tahini - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • maple syrup - 2 tbsp.
  • almond flour - 5 tbsp. for rolling

How to make

Raw cashews are soaked in water for a few hours, so that way the vegan bites will become much softer and juicier.

Clean the dates from the pits and cut each into 2-3 pieces.

Place the soaked nuts in a blender along with the cleaned dates and maple syrup and grind them.

Add the sesame tahini and blend until smooth. Leave the mixture in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

From the resulting thick mixture, form balls of the desired size.

Roll them in almond flour or grinded almonds.

Place the resulting vegan bites in paper molds and arrange them on a plate. Store the raw candies in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
