How to make
The turkey steaks are pounded lightly and sprinkled with salt. They are then spread with a paste made from mustard, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper.
The flavored meat is put in the refrigerator for about two hours so that it can absorb the flavors well.
Then put a sliced pickle, a sliced mushroom and a slice of Gouda cheese into each steak.
The rolls are placed in a greased baking pan, and a piece of butter is placed on top of each one.
Potatoes or mushrooms can be placed on the side of the savory rolls for garnish. In my case it's mushrooms and some cream. The rolls are baked in an oven at 390°F (200°C).
To prevent them from burning too quickly on top, they can be covered with aluminum foil at the beginning of baking.
The Festive Turkey Roll is ready.
